Presentation of Erasmus+ opportunities for youth within the regional stage of the national programme “State Maker. Sumy: changes are possible” (02.11.2023, online)

On November 2, 2023, NEO – Ukraine team joined the regional stage of the national program “State Maker. Sumy: changes are possible.” The program at the regional level is implemented by the  “League of Changes” with the support of the Youth and Sports Department of the Sumy Regional State Administration and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine in cooperation with the Kyiv School of Public Administration named after S. Nizhnyi and the Ukrainian Student League.

As part of the 7-day training, participants will be prepared for an active role in the formation of modern Ukraine, as well as interaction with representatives of local authorities, public organizations, business sector and mass media.

About 30 participants representing the active youth of Sumy took part in the presentation with the participation of NEO – Ukraine speaker Kateryna ZHDANOVA. During the event Erasmus+ Program for 2021-20277, key actions and priorities in the fields of education, youth and sports, as well as individual opportunities of the Programme were presented. Speaker stressed opportunities of short-term exchange programmes and Erasmus Mundus Master courses, youth exchanges and volunteering, as well as opportunities for cooperation for youth organizations and new call in 2024.

After the presentation, participants discussed their experience of Ukrainians within Erasmus+, advice and recommendations for preparation for participation.
